North of Calvert Cliffs in Calvert County, Maryland.  One-mile of sandy beach on the Bay and over
two miles of hiking trails.  It is the perfect place  for you and your dogs to spend the day.  
Please visit and begin collecting fossils and shark teeth along the shoreline.

North Point State Park is located in Baltimore County on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and is
surrounded by beautiful and fascinating natural and historical resources.
It consists of 1,310 acres off Old North Point Road in Edgemere.

Dogs on leash are allowed in Downs Park and please clean up after your  pets.  Sit on a bench and watch the
Herons and Egrets pick the pond for fish.   This pond is full of nature so don't forget your camera ! 
People are not permitted to swim,  but your dog can go swimming off-leash in the beach area and
dogs can run or take a walk along the Chesapeake Bay. The dog beach is closed every Tuesday.

This is a beautiful place for rest and exercise. You might get to see deer on your way to the Lighthouse.  
They sometimes hang around the picnic table area.  Pets on a leash are permitted on 3 of the 5 trails. 
The lighthouse sits on a cliff surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay.  
Rest and sit under a shade tree and enjoy the beautiful scenery
