standards and category you may also find some extra features such as: VCR or DVD player,
radio, hairdryer, safe, sofa, mini-refrigerator and Internet access.

Other things to consider about Location:
Very front and very back are noisiest,
If you have to choose front or back, go to the back of the ship.
The front noise of the anchor going down is loud and seems to last forever
The very back of the ship is smoother,
BUT it is extremely loud. because you can hear the engine noises,
and the thrusters every time you dock.
Near elevators and main corridors noisier.
Midship is best and inside is less noise and less motion than oceanview
If, available, try the  lowest balcony, at least 6 suites away from center of ship
If you have never had a balcony try one. You might have to book one from then on.
Some people refuse to upgrade from interior cabins to balconies.
Why not we go for the ocean view ?

Reasons to get a balcony

 1. You can really get a feel for a cruise on the balcony.
Enjoy the view as you lean over and look down at the ocean as the ship is moving.
2.You can get some awesome pictures from it also.
 3. In the morning you can have room service bring you breakfast and eat on the balcony
as the ship docks at the port and avoid getting dressed to go to the dining room or buffet.
You also don’t stand in line with hundreds of others and waiting for your omelet to be cooked
4. After returning from your shore excursion or the pool you can set your swimming trunks out to dry.
5. It is a wonderful option when you had a full day exploring
and you just want to relax and enjoy the view.
6 .You don't have to get up early and leave your room to watch the ship sail into port.
All you have to do is roll out of bed and you don't have to worry about missing a thing.
With an inside cabin you don’t want to be in your cabin so you spend all of your time exploring the ship.

Reasons I have heard that clients don't want a balcony:

1. They are to expensive. Standard balconies are more affordable today. What a steal !
2. They are never in the cabin, they are always out doing things.
Saying that you never spend time in your cabin might be true for those new to cruising
or for very social people, but some need to escape and a private balcony does the trick.
3. Balconies are located higher up on the ship and they are afraid they might get sea sick.
   Sea Sickness, Try these tricks:
Instead of lying head up, foot down, lay side to side so the sway is different.
For sea sickness center of ship and as low as possible
